Long, for press and festival programmes
Sogol started DJing in 2019 in Iran, where techno lives underground. She ran her own party series at Rande Club in Tehran, played underground raves in Isfahan and streamed sets for Deep House Tehran.
Now based in Budapest, she is a resident of Ostrom, the Hungarian / English label and event series. Her sound sits between industrial, raw and hypnotic techno, with bochka influences — heavy, rolling low end, relentless but never flat.
Her bookings run from Budapest's underground — Verknipt Hungary, Katlan Festival, Kink, Zeroom, Sanctum — to About Blank, Ava Club, Remise and HÖR in Berlin, B72 and Loft in Vienna, a Derestrict label showcase in Geneva, a warehouse rave in Paris, and festivals in Istanbul, Ankara and Mersin.
She has recorded mixes for ROVECAST (Rove Division, Berlin), Asylum, Purehate, Insurgent, Sedition, Rough Radio and innig, and her track "Anonymous Future" opens Women Life Freedom, Deestricted's 2023 charity compilation for women in Iran. She is now producing her own music, pulling industrial, raw and cinematic sound into one line.
